Free Grants For Everyone - Easy Money From Government Agencies

Millions of dollars are earmarked for grants to help stimulate the economy and raise the standard of living for Americans. Many are targeted for women, minorities and people with handicaps and disabilities, but there are also grants available to the general public who require assistance coping with the current economic situation. Most of the programs are being administered by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services.

Government funding is available for housing assistance, including grants for first time homeowners, money to help with energy bills and/or lower mortgage payments.

There are also grants that provide assistance with rent and temporary housing for low income families and single mothers.

For students and adults who wish to attend college, there are many government grants that provide tuition, materials and living expenses. Some grants target specific degrees that encourage students to pursue careers in advanced technology and cutting edge research.

Grants are also given to start a new business or expand existing companies. Many of these grants are focused on developing programs that will provide education and mentorship for new business owners.

Others focus on creating opportunities for minorities, women and the disabled persons.

There are also grants that offer to assist consumers who are facing mounting credit card payments and other personal debts. These packages are not loans, but provide money to qualified applicants to help them recover from economic conditions that threaten to send them into bankruptcy.

Obtaining government grants is a means of acquiring financial assistance for many Americans, but it does require research and perseverance to obtain.

Be prepared to spend time collecting information and responding appropriately to the steps required to submit and receive funding.
